TRA SCILLA E CARIDDI" Fin dai tempi di Omero i navigatori sapevano che attraversare lo Stretto di Messina era impresa disperata,specialmente se gli Dei avevano già deciso il loro "destino". Anche ai nostri giorni, anche se non esistono più mostri, è difficile navigare in quelle acque. Il "destino" di una giovane donna viene risvegliato dal profondo degli abissi e, una volta risalito in superficie, ingaggia una furiosa battaglia con la sua vittima. La ragazza, che non crede alle superstizioni ed ai presagi, ributta in mare un riccio "di terra" pescato assieme ad un grosso polipo. Da quel momento la sua vita cambierà drammaticamente e solo la presenza dell'anziano pescatore farà in modo che questo "destino" non vinca del tutto la battaglia.

Since Homer's times, sailors knew that crossing the Straight of Messina was a difficult task, especially if the Gods had already decided their "destinies". Even today, when there are no longer any monsters, the crossing is difficult. The 'destiny' of a young woman is re-awoken from the depths of the abyss and, once it has reached the surface, engages in furious battle with its victim. The girl, who doesn't believe in superstitions and won't listen to the warnings of her old fisherman friend, throws a 'land' urchin which she had caught together with a large squid, back into the sea. From that moment onwards her life changes dramatically, and it is only the old fisherman who is able to prevent this 'destiny' from winning.
